EU Travel Day 65 - Luck Of (camping near) The Irish October 18, 2007
Rome was the next stop on our journey, and most of the afternoon was spent driving there. The toll roads are really grinding our tits now, as we got slapped by another €14 charge.
Following the drive, we didn’t feel much like going into a busy capital city, so we hung around on the camp site for the day. We’re really glad we did, because we got spotted by an Irish man with a massive box of food he wanted rid of. It was exactly what we needed - instant rice, instance mash, instant custard, instant noodles, instant… you get the idea. We thanked them with four beers (which were later returned three-fold).
