EU Travel Day 53 - Zurich To Milan, suave October 2, 2007
We left Zurich and went to the the capital of the Principality Of Liechtenstein, a small town called Vaduz. The countryside followed on from the Austrian Alps and in the blazing (as blazing as it can be in late September) sunshine, the snow capped mountains were extra elegant. Free parking on a Sunday was a bonus too. All we really did was wander around but that was enough. I wanted a photo of a fire hydrant with my cowboy hat and sunnies on, but we forgot.
After that we drove back into Switzerland and to the dam at Verzasca. It offers the worlds highest bungee jump and can be seen on Goldeneye. We paid the €170 to jump and had some sandwiches after we recovered from the thrill. 220m of freefall madness.
Later we drove to Milan. It wasn’t really in our plan but we decided to go back to Central Europe and see Slovenia, and Milan was literally on the road there. We had a few hours in the city since we had nothing better to do. It had a nice cathedral, some bums, and some over-the-top trendy people. There. Now you don’t need to go.
Oh, and I lied about the bungee jumping. It was too expensive and too scary.

Thought youd actually done the jump then, was rather amazed!! then its all a lie. gah!
slightly impressed your both still alive, stay safe guys
